The GA version was very fast. However, the current beta update is so slow the VM is unusable. I see this most moving the mouse and typing. When I move the mouse the cursor moves in large jumps. I am able to type my entire password (15-20 characters) before the first one shows up in the login dialog. I will need to move back to the GA version at this point. Mike
This release of beta also has an updated set of tools to go along with it. Sounds like you need to update (install) Parallels tools. Try it and let us know if that solves your problem.
I installed the tools and there was no change. This problem starts as soon as the VM is started. Even the animated Windows loading screen is jerky. Typing is so slow that I can lose characters if I type more than one a second (or so). I reverted to the GA version and all is well. Speed is back to what I would expect. Mike
