I recently came across an older MacBook Pro still running 10.4.11 and Parallels Desktop build 1848.2 (from like 2006). I'd like to update the machine to Snow Leopard and am curious if Parallels will still operate if I do. Will a newer build allow this to function, or has this version of Parallels Desktop been "killed off"? Thanks for any info!
This is one of the very first releases of Parallels Desktop, version 2.2 if I recall correctly. Support for it ended in 2009. It was not compatible with Snow Leopard.
