After updating to the new build of Parallels some really weird things has started to happen. First of all, I had to reboot my computer to complete the install, which took about 5 mins. When I finally managed to log in every app I started crashed on me. After another reboot most things seemed to be working properly, except for iTunes and Safari. These two apps crash at least twice and hour after the update, iTunes seem to be doing it when I'm hiding it and have a Safari window open. I don't know how this can be related to Parallels, but the Parallels update was the only thing that changed on my system. Any ideas or thoughts on why Parallels has messed up two Apple programs?
No ideas why Parallels is a problem unless you have bits of verious Parallels versions trying to run at the same time. You might try uninstalling Parallels (which will not touch our VMs) and rebooting. See if that stabilizes your system. If it does, reinstall Parallels, restart your Mac, and see if that helps. Note that moving any part of the Parallels installation from where the installer puts it is likely to destabilize your machine, either immediately, or at the next upgrade. It's no longer the case that you can install Mac software wherever you want it. Some of it needs to be where the installer puts it. If you are running Parallels from a dock icon, delete the icon, and create a new one after each upgrade.
