    Hi all,

I'm using a White Macbook, OSX 10.6.2, Parallels 4.0 with Win XP sp3.

    Question:

I want to flash the firmware of my DVD drive in my Macbook. This can ONLY be done via Win XP. But if I use Parallels, as the name suggests, I'm running Win XP AND OSX at the same time. I want to JUST run WIN XP.

Obviously, I've already done a complete installation of WIN XP on my Macbook via Parallels. How can I access the WIN XP installation and boot into it WITHOUT booting OSX?

I don't want to have to do a complete new installation of WIN XP using Bootcamp - or I'll have two copies of WIN XP on my HD. How can I boot into WIN XP (without OSX) using my existing installed WIN XP? Can Bootcamp access my Parallels Win XP installation? All of the info I find is about people who 1st have Bootcamp and then want to use Parallels not the other way around.

    Thanks yawl!
