I am having problems with beta 3106 and no one seems to be able to help me with the problem. So, I would like to revert back to version 1970. Can I just install version 1970 over the beta 3106? Thanks in advance.
I think it woud be a better idea to uninstall ALL builds that you have on your system. Then install 1970. It will take a little bit longer, but i think doing what your suggesting is just asking for trouble! cheers, chrisj303
If I uninstall beta 3106, will it leave my install of WIndows 2000? I guess what I am asking if I do as you say to do, will I have all of my software and files, including Win2000 still available without having to reinstall?
go ~/libary/application support/parallels/ - Then locate the VM's you want to keep, drag them out onto your desktop. Then when you re-install, just put them back. Thats what i did, and it worked! chrisj303
The uninstall doesn't touch anything it didn't install, so your VMs are safe, but of course you have they backed up anyway so it doesn't matter, right? Note that installing another version of Parallels tools may or may not go smoothly, so backups are your friend.
Thank you everyone for your help. I have uninstalled beta 3106 and re-installed 1970. Everything works as it should now. I guess I will wait until all of the "kinks" are worked out for this newest version.
