I'm going for my bachelors in computer science, i like Parallel's ability to run both at the same time, but i'm worried about running advanced applications. I am afraid of the problems i've read about with using parallels on an existing bootcamp partition.

So, I'm wondering, can i make two partitions? One for bootcamp for my serious software that i need to not have crash, and another windows partition for just fun and games? I can get two licenses for windows easily.

    Hello SapAuthor,

You can create one Virtual Machine using Boot Camp partition and another VM using Windows installation disk. See Parallels Desktop User Guide For Mac for details. These two VMs will not affect each other.

    Best regards,
