Can Not Install Windows Now That I Have Leopard On My Macbook

I had parallels and windows working on my macbook but crashed my harddrive and it had to be replaced. I now have leopard on it and I can not get the windows xp to install. I put on parallels 3.0 and then updated it with the build it said to ... then tried to install windows xp and it began not installing certain files and even if I tried to do it repeatedly ..got the same results so I had to press esc to continue.. and more and more files would not copy to the point where I had to stop it. HELP.... what should I do now? I have tried uninstalling everything and trying over again but to no avail..
