Can only launch published apps with admin rights

Hi,

I've got App Server running nicely, and have been busy testing, not finding many problems. That was until I tried to deploy to a standard user.

The user is a local admin of their PC.

Most of the apps I am using have Domain Users as the only filter.

When the user runs the app, you see the login happen and then a blank window just showing the terminal server desktop color.

If I connect to the TS session via the TS server, the application is running OK. It's just not getting displayed at the client PC.

If I change the login credentials in the 2x client to those of a user with Domain Admin membership, the application loads perfectly. So the PC is configured OK, but the user account is causing the issue

The user is a member of out terminal Server users group and can log in to a full TS session and run the apps without issues.

Can anyone suggest what I need to do to allow non Domain Admins to access the published applications?

 

Does this happen for every user, even for a newly created user account.

Or are you testing the accounts from one machine.

Ensure the latest RDP client from windows update is installed and retest. Does the application itself require admin rights to run correctly?
