New macbook pro running 10.10.1 yosemite and ( latest ) parallels 10 and virtual box. Using several different 64 bit os's in vms ( linux for virtual box / win for parallels ).

Are bad things going to happen if I try to run both different vm's under both software stacks at same time or are they ( hopefully ) willing to play nicely with each other?

Saw some other threads / postings on related questions but older versions of various pieces parts wondering if anyone trying this now?

    Thanks John

Yes, it is possible to run both Parallels Desktop 10 and Virtual Box with Virtual Machine's at the same time. Please check if you have the updated version of Parallels Desktop on your Mac http://kb.parallels.com/111603
