    Hello,
I've run through all the forums and steps. Very frustrated, here. Someone please help me. Here are some necessary specs for you in order to help answer me:

    I am using a Mac OSX 10.6.8
I have successfully installed Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
I then successfully (or so I thought) installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 from the CD that came with our old HP laptop
I have made sure to to configure to "Shared".

I still cannot see any wireless networks in or around me (including my own in the house). Have not been prompted to type my network password at any point as well. For some reason, msn.com is the only website that I cab connect to. Everything else is disconnected. Cannot access any other website or the internet in general apart from msn for some reason......but yet, on the Mac side, the internet (Safari/Chrome) works perfectly as it always has. Can someone please help me with the simplest terms in order to get the Windows side connected to the internet? Tired of buying Parallels products and having to wait 6 to 8 weeks for a refund when the products do not work.

    Help!

    -Primo

    Hello Primo,
A virtual machine can use three different networking modes to communicate: Bridged, Shared and Host-Only.
Please refer http://kb.parallels.com/4948 to learn more about each networking mode, please follow steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/8978 to troubleshoot network issues in Windows virtual machine.
