    Dear Parallels-team,

I am a new customer to "Parallels Desktop for Mac" and installing your software and Windows XP was really easy. It's great to be able to run Windows XP on a Mac now because every now and then I need it as a web page designer.

Anyway, there is one problem I cannot solve - maybe you can help me somehow:
I cannot log on to the internet using Windows XP under Parallels Dektop for Mac.

I already visited your FAQ's and tried 2 of the given alternatives.
I cannot tests the 3rd one because I cannot select "Host-only networking". It's not selectable... don't know why.

Also, I know that the connection in Windows is correct (I called my provider and I was a PC user before too), so the problem has to be something else.

Do I need to be connected to the internet with my Mac before I start Parallels or must I not be connected at all?

    Any help is really appreciated.
    Thanks so much,
    jamie
