I have installed Windows 7 in Parallels on my Macbook Pro. The network setup is bridged, and I can browse web-sites using IE, but somehow I cannot connect to the network shares of my home media server running Windows 7, even though it responds to pings from inside the guest Windows. I have double checked the shares too - they are accessible through the Mac OS Finder, but every time I try to connect to them in Parallels I get an error, saying "Windows cannot access the \\ip-address". Can anyone please point me as to where I should start digging? Thanks.
