With Desktop for Mac final version (that came out today), I have run into a snafu:

If I open my .pvs file, it starts the virtual machine automatically. I cannot edit it when started. If I shutdown the virtual machine, Parallels quits.

If I start Parallels Desktop by itself, it wants to create a new virtual machine. This grays out nearly all menu options, preventing me from opening another virtual machine to edit it. If I canel the creation dialog, Parallels quits.

I can't find any way to edit my virtual machines!

I found an answer to this: in my ~/.parallels-settings folder, it was referred to virtual machines that I had moved to another volume, thus making it ignore the rest.
