Cannot get past Windows XP Pro acceptance screen

    I have been using Parallels since ver. 2 and just purchased a Macbook. I tried to load Win XP Pro into Version 4.0, but when I get to the screen that asks you to press F8 to accept it does not respond! When I press escape that works!
