Mac Air 2013 running Parallels 14.1.3 under Mojave suddenly, irretrievably died. Bought new Mac with Monterey. Migrated data with my backup from time machine. Everything transferred, however Parallels 14.1.3 would not run on Monterey, so bought upgrade to Parallels 17. It will not start: "Parallels Desktop could not be started." Now what? When I looked for Support, the option does not include email or phone support, even though the upgrade purchase said both would be offered for 30 days. Can someone help? Who do I call?

Thank you for your reply. https://kb.parallels.com/en/113990 did not resolve the issue. The app is grayed out, zero bytes - not able to move, or remove to trash.
Hi, please uninstall Parallels Desktop by following https://kb.parallels.com/en/124255 and reinstall it. Then try to activate.
