Cannot Move Parallels 8 App

Hello,

I apparently cannot move the Application anymore. From P5-P7, this worked. In P8, if the App is in any location different than "/Applications" it does not start up anymore.

Seems that some Paths are now hardcoded into the App. Any solution to this?

Just curious... Considering that in Mountain Lion's Launchpad you can create any sort of arrangement of your apps, in groups, etc, what would be the purpose of placing an .app in any other place but /Applications?

 

1) Still using Snow Leopard, as the majority of OS X users
2) Don't like the mess that results when each and every app is located in the same folder, and I want to organize that myself
3) I am a Mac user for ages now and it has always been possible to move any app anywhere you like, or at least it was possible to specify an install location
4) IMHO, it is bad style to hardcode absolute paths into the app, and by guessing from the logs, that _seems_ to be like the case here
5) It was possible with all former parallels versions I had

Therefore it would be nice to restore that lost functionality!
