I cannot print to a shared printer on mac OS X. I can see the printer in XP control panels. I can select it. When I print to it nothing happens. The Queue is even blank. I can print to it using another mac. I can print on the Host OS. I cannot print to it from the windows side. When I try it unable to print or it restarts XP. I have downloaded Bonjour for windows and set up the printer using the wizard. I am able to share files between host and guest and vice versa. Mac OS 10.4 XP Brand New 1 gig of Ram HP Photosmart C3180 Printer Any Ideas?
I have this same printer working through Bonjour, although I have it attached to a Linksys Print Server. It sounds like you have done everything right. It should work. You might try rebooting your system to see if that helps. I assume from the way you worded your post that you have gone into system preferences and turned printer sharing on.
