It seems my macbook pro and mac min somehow got mixed up. I would like to end up with these four computers: macbook air macbook pro mac mini C1400166
Well, a moment later, the macbook pro looked like a macbook, and it connected to the macbook pro. Now, the mac mini is missing.
Is this the way to get support for Access? If not, please guide me. Generally the problem is: The mac mini says "Accessible". But it is does not appear in the list of computers (https://access.parallels.com/#/computers/ when logged in)
Sometimes I see a mac mini, but when I connect to it, I discover that it really is the macbook pro. I tried to remove Access on the mini with AppCleaner and reinstall. No difference. It seems that Access thinks that the mini and the pro is the same computer.
To resolve the issue you have reported please reinstall Parallels Access on your remote computer(s): 1. Uninstall Parallels Access: http://kb.parallels.com/117142 2. Login to https://account.parallels.com/ with your Parallels account credentials. 3. Install Parallels Access: http://kb.parallels.com/116770 If you still experience an issue after Parallels Access reinstallation, please generate a Problem Report ID following the instructions in this article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/116783 and reply to this email with the report ID. Note: if you have issues with the Parallels Access Mobile Client (Android, iOS), please submit a Problem Report ID following Part Two of the above mentioned KB.
After some trial and error with the support staff, I was pointed to the solution: sign out /Applications/Parallels Access.app/Contents/MacOS/paxctl set --reset-host-id sign in from http://kb.parallels.com/en/121134
