I have been reading, searching and trying different solutions for hours. This morning my parallels locked up and upon a reboot, my .hdd file was "corrupt". I've tried following 4680 web page, and after I copy the file, rename it and link my virtual machine to use the new file, I have to re-install windows, quickbooks, and all my stuff again. Trying to restore any snapshots gives me an error message:

An error occurred during reverting to snapshot. Error code is 419502468

I cannot believe that my info is so far gone that I must re-install it all over again. Are there any other fixes out there for this issue?

If you backed up your VM, please try kb 4680 you used on every hds file not just on one the last and the buggest.

I tried every one that was listed in the folder. Each time I go to launch it asks to re-install windows. What else can I try?

I hope you backed up it first

put here diskdescriptor.xml file from backed up VM folder
and put here content of winxp.hdd (or another name here)
with get info here (I need full name of file size and creation date - use list view in Finder)
