Cannot type during configuration of windows 7

Hey I seem to have a problem while trying to configure windows 7 with parallels 6 trial version. I have the program installed, and it is validated and properly activated. I am using a mac trying to get windows 7 to run in the virtual machine. My problem comes when parallels is configuring windows 7 to run and it comes up with the log in screen so i can type my password but the problem is that i cant type in the box. Any suggestions?
