Can't access bridged network from MacOSX

I've sucessfully installed Ubuntu 5.10 on Parallels on my Macbook Pro 2.16GHz 2GB RAM. My airport is disabled and I bridge the en0 network interface. When the VM boots, I get a DHCP IP address and am able to connect to the internet and to other machines on the LAN. However, I can't access the primary MacOSX IP address from the guest OS, nor can I access it the other way 'round.

In beta1 this worked, however it often resulted in kernel crashes. It seems that in beta2 this stopped working for some reason. Any ideas?
