I am using Parallels 6 latest upgrade on an iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

When I first installed Parallels 6 on my iMac a few months ago all was working OK. However, I can no longer locate my CD/DVD drive which is seen as 'D' drive in Windows. I used to be able to access this drive which I use for my University software but now when I place a DVD into my Mac, it is only seen by the Mac and not be Paralleles/Windows. For example, if the DVD contains a piece of video, it opens on the Mac but I really need to access the Windows based software on several DVDs but the 'D' drive cannot be found on Parallels/Windows and so I cannot access what I require. If I go to 'My computer' on the Windows interface I also can't eject a disk in 'D' drive. This seems to have happened sometime after an upgrade to OS 10.6.8 from 10.6.7.

Should I try to reload 10.6.7 or reload Windows XP or is there a more simple answer to this? Parallels is fully up-to-date.
To recap: DVD drive is not recognised on Parallels, only via the Mac and will only open on Mac so I cannot access Windows-based files or software. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Lee
