Can't activate license

I'm using the official release of AppServer 5.0 and I'm trying to activate the license. I'm getting error 'License Activation failure'. I can reach 2X web site from the server. Help!

 

Hi there,

You need an Internet connection to be able to activate the product.
Once it is activated you do not need the Internet any more unless you need to reactivate it, due to so license upgrade.

I understand I need an Internet connection to activate the product, but I have it. From the server, I can reach 2X web site and other sites.

What specifically is needed in terms of ports, UDP, TCP?

 

I installed the software on my PC (Windows XP) and used the key and it installed almost instantly. But on the server (Windows 2003) I get the License activation failure. I'm worried that this will happen even when I receive my permanent key. I can access the Internet from the server the same way as from my PC.

 

All you need is that the 2X Application Server Console can connect to the internet on port 443.

Computer PRGA7495A is my PC. I installed the software there to test the activation process on a XP machine and it worked ok. They are in different virtual LANs also (the server and my PC).

I moved the server (PRGATSR002) to an user VLAN and was able to activate the software. Some configuration in the server VLAN was blocking the activation process.
