I'm trying to boot to safe mode under parallels. When I press select safe mode in the boot options (F8) I'm given this window: For one thing, the fact that neither of the options corresponds to one of my hardware configurations confuses me. My configurations are named "Boot Camp" and "Parallels" and the menu displays perfectly when I enter windows through boot camp. Anyways, I've tried both of the options. Parallels configuration takes me to a black screen of death, while Microsoft Windows XP Professional does the following: Booting to Windows worked fine before I installed Parallels tools; now I just get these problems. I've tried uninstalling it through Boot Camp but it says that I must be under the virtual machine to do so. Any help would be much appreciated.
