Hi I am using the 2x Application Server on a WHS and connecting to it from a vista laptop. It all seems to be ok, then I power off the laptop or close the lid and the connection on the Vista laptop dies. When I try to connect to the 2x server by launching a previously published application it refuses to connect and gives an error it is unable to connect. I have logged into the WHS and checked the logs there is nothing in there. I am a little stumped as to where to from here, there is no error message and it works one minute but then stops the next. The only error I have ever seen on the server is "Agent localhost is being used by another 2x p publishing agent 127.0.0.1". This goes away after I click on it. I have all default settings in the 2x server, I changed the IIS port in WHS to 8080. Any ideas?
I suggest you enable logging and auditing and then generate the error and send a support request to support@2x.com
