This just happened: while trying to copy a folder from my Hard Drive to the Windows (7) partition of the same hard drive, I got this message: This is the first time this happens to me: until now, I could transfer my data from the main partition to the Windows partition of my hard drive without trouble. I tried to look for an answer on the web and tried to implement the solutions proposed (reinstalling parallels tools, turning off windows' firewall...) to no avail. Even more ridiculous, I can still open via windows files, pictures, videos, even full programs written on the main partition of my hard drive, it's when I try to move files around that windows mule-headedly insists that the very hard drive it is written on is not available.
Hello User06, Please enable shared profile option. Go to your Virtual Machine's Configuration (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) -> Options -> Sharing and Enable Shared Profile. Also make sure "All disks" is selected in shared folders option which is above to shared profile. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
