I have a brandnew macbook pro 17inch. It came pre installed with the latest everything including bootcamp/xp pro. I bought parallels and use the bootcamp utility to uninstall its partition and xp. I then rebooted and installed parallels. I followed the basic installation and didn't change anything. Everything installs properly and windows starts up. But instead of getting to the "finalizing installation" step and entering my windows serial, I get the following pop-up/error: "Fatal Error - An error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing. One of the components that windows needs to continue setup could not be installed. A components file does not matc the verification information present in the component manifest" I've shut off all virus software. Reinstalled parellels and deleted the vm multiple times. Nothing is working.
