I have no idea if this is a Parallels issue or a Windows issue, so hopefully somebody can help. I'm trying to initialize a Samsung S2 portable USB drive in Parallels 5 (Windows XP SP3). The drive will not appear in My Computer, but I can see it in Disk Management. Trying to initialize the drive or delete any partition on it causes an "unspecified error" which provides no information at all on why it is failing. The drive mounts fine no matter how I initialize and use it in OS X. I've also tried formatting it with NTFS-3G, which works fine on the Mac side, but still does not mount in Windows. Any thoughts?
