Can't install Desktop 10

    Hi-
    I am using an Imac 2012 running Mavericks 10.9.5. After upgrading to this version of the OS, I couldn't open my VM getting the error message "Unable to start Parallels services" etc. I found a support note telling me to download Parallels Desktop-9.0.24251.1052177.dmg which I did. Tried to install and when I click on the .dmg file, nothing happens. So, I decided to upgrade to v 10 - Parallels Desktop-10.0.2-27712.dmg. Again when I click on the .dmg file, nothing happens.

    I found an "untitled 1" as a user 0 and deleted it. Didn't fix problem. Reboots don't fix problem. I click on the .dmg file and nothing happens. Help, please!

    Hi,

    are you able to install anything else? Lets say you have Skype.dmg and you double click it - will it be installed?
