I'm running version 7.0.15055 under Lion on an iMac. I insert the CD and auto run doesn't cause the install to begin. When open win explorer, I see the disk as 'psf' (X. When I double click on the install.exe program I get the following message: "uicken install launcher was unable to open X:\dis1\setup.exe". The omission of the 'q' in quicken is not a typo, that's how the message reads. I'm suspecting the the cd is assigned to Lion and not Windows. Is this the problem? If so, how t I assign the cd to windows? Any advice is appreciated.
Hi JohnnyA to connect dvd drive to VM in the top menu, choose CD/DVD 1 and click Connect. In older versions of Parallels Desktop you can also right-click (Ctrl+click) the CD/DVD-ROM icon on the Parallels window status bar and choose Connect or Connect from the drop-down menu.
