I'm running the latest build, 3810. I'm trying to create a new XP Pro VM on my Mac and am having no luck. The install either hangs installing devices with 37 minutes left to go, or goes into an infinite reboot loop. I've tried installing from the original Microsoft CD and creating an image file (Changing the extension to iso as it states in one of the knowledge base articles) with no difference. I've installed the VM before, does this have something to do with this new build? I've also left a note with technical support, but I was wondering if anyone here has seen this behavior.

    Hello,

What kind of disk you are using? Is it full version? upgrade, OEM? In case of upgarde and OEM instalation will fail.

Can you try oter disk? Will you have the same issue?

It's the upgrade CD. But I did not have a problem using it before, I just inserted the original CD or image when prompted and off it goes. This was not a problem until this latest build was released. I made a clean install right after I got 4.0 .

    Hello, mattebury

It is impossible to install Windows using upgrade CD. Probably you missed something. You may check Microsoft site and check this info.
