Cant Install Parallel Tools on MacBook Pro

when I try to install parallel tools to run windows 7 on my macbook pro, It does not automatically run or even try to install. I can push the install button and i've tried searching and installing manually but it will not start. is there something i need to re download or re install from the parallel's disk? If someone else has had this problem just let me know or if anyone can help i would gladly appreciate it.
