Can't print in windows--local printer

I have a Macbook pro os 10.4.11

having trouble printing from windows thru usb to my printer
upgraded to to Build 5584.....did not help
read a post about 5582.5, so I installed that build....no help

I am brain dead been tearing what little hair I have left and running in circles

Any suggestions?

Did you try to set up printing using Parallel Port?
