Can't register my Parallels AGAIN

    I have a working, activated copy of Parallels which I registered back in november. Today I'm trying to update from 5582 and it's telling me I have to register the product AGAIN.

    I created an account and want to register my Parallels but I CAN'T because I don't have the activation code. Our IT department keeps those for all software and refuses to give them out (I guess they are worried about software theft). There doesn't seem to be any way to recover the activation code from inside Parallels itself so how am I supposed to register it?

    Before now I was getting updates just fine, why the sudden change in policy? I know a number of other IT departments have the same policy as ours, this is a real pain in the neck.
