Trying to use scanner in my HP Photosmart C6180 in the Windows XP Guest OS. Can print OK from Windows OS but when I try to scan I get an error message telling me that another program or computer is using the networked device. Another comuter is NOT sing the networked device unless it thinks that the MAC OS is using the device. Have installed Photosmart software on Windows XP guest OS and on Mac OSx. Mac software works ok. Would like to be able to scan in windows so that I can Scan into Scansoft Paperport which I use a document management system. Any ideas? Parallels 3 Build 5608 on IMac 3.06 GHz 2 GB Ram Mac OS x 10.5.4 HP Photosmart 6180 connected via wired networking via Belkin Wired/Wireless 802.11n Hub/Gateway
