I can't seem to get this to work. Here's what I want to do: 1 - Create a xp pro vm. 2 - link to a mounted usb hard drive on osx from inside the vm. 3 - use newsleecher and utorrent inside the vm to download files on to the usb hard drive. 4 - be able to access those files on the usb hd regardless of whether parallels is running or not. so far, i've tried an endless combination of mapping drives, creating aliases, setting shares, and a couple of third party linking programs, but everything i try won't work. has anyone actually done this? thanks.
