Hi.
Whenever I try to update windows, it says it has 50+ urgent upgrades but clicking on download results in the progress being stuck at 0 percent. Says its being downloaded. Also when I try to download an app on the metro interface or update existing apps, its also stuck on 0 percent. It says it's pending.
Its not that I dont have internet access. Otherwise I wouldnt be able to acces the windows store at all. Im no expert so I may be talking gibberish but is Parallels perhaps blocking certain ports or anything in that direction? At least thats what Im suspecting.
Im running on a windows 8 fresh install. Very few programs installed like chrome etc. No Antivirus. I also have the Parallels tools installed.
On another note, is it possible to use the Mac keyboard layout for windows? Its very annoying to have to use control instead of command like Im used to now. Also, trying to type the sign @ is a pain. Normally, under the German layout on windows it's alt + Q (which funnily enough on a Mac corresponds to cmd + Q). It does sometimes work with cmd + q, sometimes I have to use right alt + L sometimes neither work. I have no idea why it keeps changing up like that and I end up having to manually copy it from somewhere else.
Thanks.
Edit: Tried the "windows refresh" and still the same. I wonder If I can just delete the VM and reinstall it from scratch? How would I go about that, since my Windows license key is bound to that install. It would be great if I could find an image with all latest Updates and etc preinstalled so I dont have to waste hours on getting it up to date.
