    Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a certificate-related error when trying to launch a desktop through the Parallels RAS client installed on my laptop. The setup works perfectly fine through the web, but the issue arises with the local client. Here are the details:

    • Setup: The laptop is in a different domain than the Parallels RAS setup.
    • Issue: The desktop fails to launch, displaying a certificate-related error. The site which is used to access Parallels RAS desktop over the internet works fine and I can get through to login and the mfa. It's only when I launch the desktop - it fails displaying cert error.
    • The part which I am confused at - The external site certificate(issued by public CA) is only for accessing the site over the internet and plays no role in launching the session, or it does ? Will I need a separate cert on the rdsh servers(wildcard cert) issued by internal CA and install on the laptop for the desktop launch to work ?
    • What I've Tried:
      1. Ensured the SSL certificate from the external site is installed in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store on the laptop.
      2. Checked RDP settings on the Parallels RAS server.
      3. Reviewed Parallels RAS logs for specific error messages.
      4. Ensured there are no network restrictions or firewall settings blocking the connection.
Despite these steps, the issue persists. Could anyone provide guidance on what specific certificate is needed on the laptop for the desktop to launch successfully, or any additional steps I might be missing?

Thanks in advance for your help!
