I am having issues when using an HDMI cable connected to a UHD television/monitor. What I am experiencing is that Windows 10 is often shutting down or suspending itself for no reason. I am not sure if this is in response to changes I made to allocate additional CPU and video memory to the virtual machine or something else. I am using a confirmed HDMI cable that's 2K x 4K but may try a different one just in case if someone things that would help.

Can someone please suggest the best settings retina versus scale display the way to properly connect and disconnect when using a monitor or not using monitor and the most optimal settings for memory and CPU allocation.

Hello JoesN1, please reinstall Parallels Tools from Action->Reinstall or Update Parallels Tools and if the issue persists, please follow the instructions outlined in this article.
