I am running Windows 7 Professional under Parallels 9 and trying to install software. For the most part, I haven't run into any problems. However, I am running up against a wall when trying to install a certain add-on for a program.

I keep getting the following error:

"Your account on this computer doesn't seem to have permission or privilege to install Cadimage Tools. You'll need to re-run the installer as an administrator..."

I've tried doing this as the windows hidden Administrator account, and under additional accounts that i created to be windows administrators. I still get the error. When i look at the accounts in windows CP, the accounts are all Standard Users, and the option to change them to administrator status is grayed out when i click the radio button to change it. Even when i use the "Run as Administrator" option, I still get the permissions error.

Is Parallels limiting my administrator privileges in windows?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment!
