Hi everyone I am wondering about the default filetype associations with my windows xp virtual machine. It has changed file associations with certain formats, such as .rar Despite changing these settings within Mac - for example, to always open .rar archives with stuffit expander, the windows XP association remains. This is troublesome for me as i can accidentally boot the VM, which slows things down a lot! I am running Snow Leopard with a Windows XP VM in Parallels desktop 4, for Mac. Is there a way to sort this problem out? I have gone through the settings meticulously and had no luck. Thank you in advance.
