Hi all,
I am using Parallels Desktop 8 on Mavericks (both fully up to date), and need to change the shared network subnet. The default is 10.211.55.0/24, with a DHCP pool covering the entire range of usable addresses. I want to use 172.24.0.0/11 with a DHCP pool of 172.26.0.1 through 172.26.0.255 (as a side note, Parallels won't allow me to specify 172.26.0.0 as the start address - even though it's a valid host IP in this subnet - but does allow me to use 172.26.0.255 as the end address; is this a bug?)
Having specified these settings in the network configuration, my virtual machines still receive addresses from the default range. This applies to both Windows and OS X guests. I have tried logging off and back on and have done a full reboot, just in case PD's DHCP daemon had froze etc. Here's a screenshot of my config:

From searching these forums and the rest of the web, there seems to be very little talk about changing the subnet. Does anyone else have this problem? Any network junkies willing to test it with me?
Thanks for any help.
