I have been unable to start my free trial of Parallels Desktop 13. I downloaded it, installed it, and tried to start up a VM and then I am asked to sign into my parallels account. I tried to create an account inside the app but after entering my information, it told me to check my internet connection and try again. I did, it's fine. It provided me with a link to follow if the problem persists, which I did. On that website, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. There doesn't seem to be a way to request a trial key.

Searching this forum, I found a knowledge base entry that told me to check my hosts file and to use the network utility to verify connectivity with some Parallels server. I tried everything in that knowledge base entry with no luck.

Please let me know what else to try.

Hi @DerekS7 , we had a minor technical glitch which has been resolved now. Please try to activate now and let us know if that works.
