We need to be able to control client policies/applications for internal vs external users. Here is the current problem…. 1) User connects to 2x farm internally and needs one set of policies for 2x client. 2) Same user needs a different set of polices when connecting from home, or non-company device. 3) Allow only specific users remote access to system. (see post link below) If there is a way to accomplish this, we cannot find it. I couple ideas would be…. 1) Add an IP check of connecting client. IE: Filter tab for subnet, ranges and so on 2) Allow Client policy to look up computers in a Group. IE: all computers in this group get this policy..else use this policy. 3) Apply Policy based on Gateway. IE: Connecting from a GW in a DMZ would use specific policy. 4) Combo of all. Additional, this could also be applied to application filtering. I know there are options now, but you cannot combine filters. Combining filters will allowing admins better control. An example would be…. User “John” needs Word only when connecting from a specific computer. Connections from any other computer it is not needed. We then can create an AD group for “word users” with John added and add the allowed computer into an “Allowed Word computers” group. Additional filters can also help with this post made a while back.... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6024 Any help would be great. Thanks.
