We are in the process of deploying our new 2x setup. We are currently running an old server version 4.3, and our clients are running 5.1.
They are connecting with both http and ssl.
Our new setup is going to run a load balanced server version 6, and running with version 6 client too.
However we would like to first upgrade the server, and then the clients.
It seems that the client version 5.1 is compatible with both the old 4.3 server and the new 6.0 server. but only in http mode !! If we try to connect via SSL to our old 4.3 server it works fine, if we try to connect to our new 6.0 server with SSL we get an error, using the v5.3 client in both cases.
Also the V6 client seems to not work at all with server V4.3.

The specified remote 2x Application Server could not be found.
Verify that you have typed the correct computer name or IP address, and then try to connect again.
Is this by design, or is there a workaround, to get the 5.1 client working with the new 6.0 server with ssl mode ?
