Coherence + start menu + mouse problem [Solved!]

I have the latest Parallels installed (3.0 Build 5160) and running XP and BootCamp. In singel window and fullscreen everything works perfect. But in coherence mode I have a strange problem. When I drag the mouse over the start menu it disapers and popsup in the middle of the screen. And this allways happens. I can acces the starmenu by pressing the apple-key. And If I run applications the mouse starts to automatically move down untill it disapears.

Is there anyone out there who knows how to fix this anoying bug??

    Ditto

I am having the same issue. I am running a macbook pro core 2 duo. OS X 10.4.1, guest OS WIN XP. Both are fully updated.

Mouse works in full screen or windowed mode, although it is jumpy (I had to put a cursor trail on and slow down the mouse speed). In coherence mode, the issue seems to lie in trying to pass the mouse cursor between an XP application window and OS X. Each time the cursor leaves an XP application window, the OS X cursor re-centers on the screen.

It appears that the problem that I was having centered on using my USB mouse in coherence mode.
I am using a Logitech MX 700 cordless optical mouse. When I connect it, Parallels asks me if I want the mouse connected to the guest OS or OS X. Previously, I had been selecting, "Yes", confirming that I wanted it connected to the guest OS. I tried clicking "No", and this resolved the issue. It must have something to do with allowing Parallels tools to pass the control of the cursor between the guest OS and OS X, as opposed to the VM trying to take over each time I passed through a guest OS window (?).
Making this change also dramatically improved my mouse response in the guest OS. I was able to use the mouse seamlessly between OSes.

I don't know what the implications of this are for windowed and full screen mode.

    Hope this helps.

    This solved my problem:

Please, reinstall the Parallels Tools. For this purpose do the following:
    1. Launch your Windows XP.
    2. Open Add/Remove programs control panel in Windows and remove Parallels Tools if present.
    3. Reboot Windows.
    4. Install Parallels Tools using "Install Parallels Tools .." menu item in the Action menu of the Parallels Desktop application.
    5. Reboot Windows.
