Coherence won't work

Hi, I hope someone can help?

When in coherence mode I get the parallels icon in the top bar of my mac but when I call up the windows start menu I am unable to select anything from it.

I have tried reinstalling tools but it makes no difference.

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Did it happen after an upgrade? please specify the actions you performed previously. Did you have Coherence working previously. I suggest you to check your Device manager for any third-party video drivers: if there are any i suggest you to remove them (only Parallels Video adapter should be present).
