Color depth issue in Windows x64 client

Hi! I have recently installed the 2X XG ApplicationServer, and it's working very fine.

However, I have a small color-depth issue, so I only get 256 colors in my applications using the Windows x64 client on Windows 7 x64. I have tried to manually set both the 2X server/application to the highest setting in addition to the client, but still not help.

I tried the Android client and that display 32bit colors just fine and the application looks great there.

Any tips?

 

what version of the client are you using ingarb? are you trying v10.1.1230?

 

Hi, yes.

Client is running Version 10.1 (build 1230) (64 bit) on Windows 7 SP1 x64 Enterprise.

Server is running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard VM under Hyoer-V.

 

@ingarb: I know this topic is quite old, however, the RDP server may decide to lower the connection settings if it deems that the connection's resolution is too resource consuming. This could explain why it works on the tablet and it doesn't work properly on Win7 machine (assuming that you are using fullscreen for both clients).
