    I'm currently evaluating Parallels Desktop for Mac with a Linux host, as per this forum. There is only one issue I am having; using the Command key as Alt, it takes two clicks to actually alt-click. Using the xev utility, the Alt_L event is clearly arriving consistently after the button event. My configuration:

    * 512MB minimal gentoo build with X11
    * Virtual Machine Shortcuts: Cmd+Q and Cmd+W to Win+Q and Win+W
    * OSX Shortcuts are disabled
    * "Optimize modifier keys for games" is ON

    Interestingly, the latter option does not affect the command key, so press/release events are not immediate, but if the sequence was correct for clicks, it would work regardless. I would be happy with any solution which:

    * Does not require OSX shortcuts to work (i.e., I can use Cmd+Q etc in the VM)
    * Allows modifier+click to work correctly
    * Does not require mapping modifiers in the VM Shortcuts, because this hides the keycodes between left/right keys

    Does Parallels support this? Is the sequence issue a bug?

    thanks,
