Hi, up until yesterday I was using a 2009 white Macbook with an Nvidia 9400m. I have been running Rift in minimal graphics mode using Boot Camp and can get 30+ fps. I bought Parallels and for the heck of it tried running Rift with my Boot Camp install as a VM. It was almost playable, getting about 10-15 fps. Yesterday I got a new 15" Macbook Pro with the Radeon 6750m. I set up VM and installed Rift, expecting to see better performance, but even at the lowest graphics settings, it performs about the same as on my white Macbook. Are there any tips for configuring the VM to run games better, or does this just indicate that the game really can't be run this way? It's also my understanding that the actual graphics card isn't used directly, so the graphics card upgrade doesn't matter that much? Thanks...
